globalization

globalization is the process of international integration such as economy, politics, culture and so on. besides, globalization also means that anyone can travel, trade and invest freely in a country without restriction. the advances in technology, transportation and Internet is the major contribution to globalization. while many people believe that globalization is advantageous, negative impact of globalization should also be addressed accordingly.

the most obvious evident of globalization is the gradual similarity (although not entirely) of the differences in culture, education, economy, technologies and so on around the world. those days, people only wear their national costume or eat food that is produce in their own country but as globalization occur, free trade between nations has increased which lead to people starting to learn other country's language, dress up similarly, eating the same food ( KFC, McDonal's etc), having the same kind of technologies or even almost the same kind of education syllabus.

it is undeniable that globalization bring benefits because it helps poorer country to develop by introducing new technologies, manufacture goods due to cheaper cost thus creating job opportunities for the local people. this will improve the lifestyle, and help develop the country in all areas of field including education and infrastructure. globalization also reduces international barrier and improve political stability among countries around the world as it requires interdependence among countries. in the long run, it would reduces international poverty, increase understanding between countries through expansion of corporations and secure strong trade ties.  such example can be seen in the European Union which comprises of 28 countries where according to a global wealth report, the EU has the highest net wealth in the world.

With that being said, globalization especially in third world country like India, Myanmar or Malaysia requires careful measurement to prevent crime such as child labor, black market, illegal trade, terrorism and so on. by transferring corporations and business into other countries it will destroy job opportunity for the local people. therefore, developed country should consider such negative impact that would caused and find a solution to the balance between globalization and protecting the economy of their own country.

in conclusion, globalization brings more advantages as it helps people around the world to advance not just in technologies but also in economy and education. however it is also important to tackle the problems that globalization could caused.
